2000-2001 ALL STATE TEAM

There will only be 25 Post on the All State Team. The 25 All State Post will receive an All State Post Banner.

For a Post to be eligible, it must have reached 100% of their Membership Quota by May 2, 2002. The Leadership Manual must be completed and received in State Headquarters no later than May 2, 2002. Leadership Manual is required to make All State Commander.

Points will be given for participation in the Progress outlined in the All State Judging:

40 Points - For being 100% in Membership
15 Points - For participating in Buddy Poppy Program
10 Points - For having a Community Service Record Book for State Judging
*10 Points - For being credited with at least two Hospital Reports
* 5 Points - For being credited in Americanism
* 5 Points - For being credited in Safety
* 5 Points - For being credited in Youth Activity
5 Points - For being credited in Voice of Democracy
5 Points - For being credited in Youth Essay Program
1 Point - For each additional 5 members above 100%

Community Activity Reports, Americanism, Safety and Youth Activity Reports. *Total of 5 Points. 2 Points for reporting during first reporting period May 1 through October 31 and 3 Points during second reporting period November 1 through April 30. (Reports must be submitted each reporting period to earn the total of 5 Points.)

Hospital Reports. *Total of 10 Points. 5 points for reporting period May 1 through October 31 and 5 Points for reporting during second period November 1 through April 30. (Reports must be submitted each reporting period to earn the total of 10 Points.

Points with less than 50 members are not eligible for the All State Team. To be eligible the Post must bring their membership up to 50 members, which will be classified as 100% then each additional 5 members will count as one (1) Point.

The Awards and Citations Committee will break all ties and their decision will be final.

The All State Post Commander will receive: A Citation; an All State cap; an All State pin; two (2) free tickets for you and your spouse/date to the State Convention Banquet to be held on Saturday night and a check in the amount of $300.00 for expenses if attending and participating at the State Convention. The All State Post Commanders will also receive a wooden pen set.

The All State Post Quartermasters will receive: A Citation; an All State cap; an All State pin; two (2) free tickets for you and your spouse/date to the State Convention Banquet to be held on Saturday night and a check in the amount of $300.00 for expenses if attending and participating at the State Convention. The All State Quartermasters will also receive a wooden pen set.

The All State Commanders and All State Quartermasters will be individually recognized at the Awards Program during the State Convention.

From the All State Team, the Post with the highest points in the All State Judging will be designated as the Outstanding Post of the Year 2001-2002. The Commander and Quartermaster of this Post will be the Captains of the All State Team.
